Bomb damage to the Electrical Store in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
Bomb damage said to be to the Electrical Store in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from the south side looking east. There are tables in the roadway on the left of the picture. These same tables can be seen on the right of the picture in negative number N24910. There are a large number of packing cases outside the building, the crates in the nearest stack being marked "21 in II to V & VII to IX". The crates in the stack in the right background appear to be marked "18 in VI to XII". It is possible that these crates are stored out side the Torpedo & Paravane Shed. The raid was in the evening of 5th December.
