Bomb damage to the quay between D Lock and C Lock in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
Looking west along the quay on the north side of C Lock in Portsmouth Dockyard, showing bomb damage to the quay between C and D Locks and to the brickwork wall of C Lock. Buildings on the west end of the quay are damaged and a line of dockyard railway trucks are between the bomb crater and the Shipwrights Shop. Tugs, trawlers and other small craft are berthed on North Corner Jetty and in the Tidal Basin. The raid was in the evening of 5th December.
