Bomb damage to the destroyer Witherington (1919) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire

Looking aft and to port from the starboard side of the upper deck on the destroyer Witherington (1919) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, showing the corrugated deck between stations 131-136. She was hit the three bombs while alongside a jetty at Portsmouth on the night of 10-11 Mar. 1941 and had to be beached on a mud bank. She was refloated and dry docked for repairs and conversion to short range escort.
