Propeller damage to the destroyer escort Vimy (1917) in dry dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
Looking forward and to starboard from abaft the port side of the stern of the destroyer escort Vimy (1917) in a dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. The blades of the port propeller are damaged, possibly the result of the Vimy ramming and sinking the German submarine U.162 (1941) near Trinidad 3 Sep. 1942.
