The submarine Oberon (1926) in No. 2 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
A very close port side view, taken from across the quay, of the conning tower of the submarine Oberon (1926) which is berthed on the east side of No. 2 Basin in Portsmouth Dockyard. She has a 20 mm cannon on her anti-aircraft platform and her pendant number is N21. Her hull is below the level of the quay which is a great deal tidier than that shown in negative number N25149. In the background is No. 2 Ship Shop and the bow of a trawler with the letters BE on it.
