The submarine Oberon (1926) in No. 2 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
A very close port side view, taken from across the quay just ahead of the beam, of the conning tower of the submarine Oberon (1926) which is berthed on the east side of No. 2 Basin in Portsmouth Dockyard. She has a 20 mm cannon on her anti-aircraft platform and her pendant number is N21. Her hull is below the level of the quay. The quay has different items on it than are shown in negatives numbers N25149 and N25150. In the background is a camouflage painted destroyer and No. 2 Ship Shop.
