The outer bottom framing of the light cruiser Hawke on No. 5 Slip in Portsmouth Dockyard, looking forward and to starboard from the keel at station 86. Frames 85, 84 and 83 have been welded in position between the keel and the first longitudinal and bolted between the first and second longitudinals. The longitudinals have been riveted into position. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P89/43 has been written near the bottom of the negative.
