A close detail of part of the double bottom plating at station 83 on the starboard side of the light cruiser Hawke on No. 5 Slip in Portsmouth Dockyard, looking aft and to port. The double bottom frame 83 is welded between the 3rd and 4th longitudinals which are riveted to the B strake outer bottom plating. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P112/43 has been written near the bottom left corner of the negative.
