A starboard bow view of the tank landing craft LCT 334 (1942) undergoing conversion to an LCT(R) in No. 2 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from the quayside close to the bow. The framing over her tank deck is complete and a start has been made on fitting the deck plates. No. 2 Ship Shop is on the left. A BYMS type minesweeper and the former French Navy survey ship President Theodore Tissier (1933) are on the South West Wall in the Tidal Basin in the background. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P122/43 has been written in the bottom left corner of the negative.
