A close view of the port side of the 2 pdr gun platform aft of the funnel on the bow section of the destroyer Porcupine (1941) laid up in No. 3 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, berthed on the quay between No. 13 and No. 14 Dry Docks. The bow section is known as Pork and the photographer is standing on X gun platform on the stern section, known as Pine, which is berthed outboard of Pork. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P178/43 has been written near the top right corner of the negative.
