Unicorn Gate, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
Looking north-west-by-north from the middle of Unicorn Road at Portsmouth showing the Unicorn Gate of Portsmouth Dockyard. The main wooden gates are open and guarded by police officers. The two pedestrian gates are closed. A poster on the east gate says "Watch your talk for his sake" and shows a seaman in a ship's crowsnest. Various advisory signs and notices are on the gate piers. The dockyard's railway access is on the left.
