A rubber gasket fitted in a pressure test unit in a workshop in Portsmouth Dockyard. The unit is closed up to test the effectiveness of the gasket, which is intended for use in a caisson. The pressure gauge on the unit, which is not operating, is calibrated up to 650 bar.
