The docked down tank landing craft LCT 2285 (1942) seen from the top of the dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is looking forward and to port from above her starboard quarter. A steel structure is being assembled in her tank deck which, in the Portsmouth Dockyard negative register, is described as "modified tank ramps under construction". Her stern is out of the picture. Another LCT Mark 5 is ahead of her in the dry dock. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P105/44 has been written in the bottom left corner of the negative.
