On board the tank landing craft LCT 2285 (1942) in Portsmouth Dockyard, looking forward from the wheelhouse, showing the newly installed tank ramps and platform. The work is almost complete. She is at moorings with a sister craft to starboard and the oil fuel lighter C 622 (1943) to port. On a separate mooring ahead of her is the double grab hopper dredger Servitor (1935). The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P126/44 has been written in the bottom right corner of the negative.
