The torpedo damaged repair ship Albatross (1928) docked down in a dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, showing a close view of the damage to the port side forward looking aft from the bottom of the dock very close alongside the hull. Scaffolding has been erected but no work has yet been started to clear the debris. The ship was hit by a torpedo off Ouistreham and the forward third of the hull was flooded.
