Gun blast instruments made by the Cambridge Instrument Co fitted on board the light cruiser Birmingham (1936) in Portsmouth Dockyard. There are two instruments, neither of which are numbered, fitted in the CPO's pantry on the upper deck abaft Station 53 on the port side. One unit is mounted horizontally and the other is mounted vertically. A sign in the background reads "A suggestion! This oven will be useful for display purposes". Vertical format.
