A close view of the port side of the stern of the tanker Nord Atlantic (1938), dried out in No. 15 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, during her reconstruction, taken from the bottom of the dock looking forward and to starboard. The bottom part of the stern casting and the lower plating have been removed. Wooden formers are on the floor of the dock.
