Docking arrangements for the Victory (1765) in No. 2 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire

Looking along the starboard side of the hull of the Victory (1765) from the floor of No. 2 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, showing the concrete wall topped with oak blocks used to support her keel. The photographer is standing close to the stern of the ship. The steel pillar supports for the mizzen mast can be clearly seen. The coppering on the Victory's hull is in poor condition, especially on her keel.
