Launching Caisson H (1920) from North Queensferry, Firth of Forth.
Caisson H (1920) lying on its side sliding down the slipway at North Queensferry when being launched into the Firth of Forth. The caisson is for use in Rosyth Dockyard. The north end of the Forth Bridge can be seen on the right. A copy negative of a photographic print produced by the photographers of Portsmouth Dockyard and entered into the Portsmouth Dockyard Negative Register 11 Nov. 1947.
