An accident scene in the Duchess of Kent Barracks, Pembroke Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire
A large nissen hut in the grounds of the Duchess of Kent Barracks, Pembroke Road, Portsmouth. A ladder is set up on the side of the hut and a stack of bricks is on the right. All of the corrugated iron sheets have been individually numbered or otherwise identified. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register describes this as "scene of accident". Presumably a workman fell off the ladder. Vertical format.
