Looking east across the South Camber from the jetty at the back of No. 4 Boathouse in Portsmouth Dockyard, showing the slipways between the small nissen boathouse and the damage control centre. A number of naval motor boats are stored on the slipway. The police office is in the background with the Ship & Castle public house and Gieves naval tailors outside the dockyard on The Hard.
