A building destroyed by fire in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.

The ruins of a timber and corrugated iron building in Portsmouth Dockyard, as seen from an adjoining building looking from above roof level. The building was destroyed by fire and only the badly charred timber framework is still standing. Sheets of corrugated iron are lying amongst the debris. A number of brick built buildings with pitched roofs are in the background.
