A man climbing a date palm tree
An uncaptioned black and white portrait photograph of a man, possibly Egyptian, climbing a date palm. The man is near the top of the trunk, his back turned to the camera but with his head turned to the left of the image so his face is visible. He wears white or light-coloured clothes and is barefoot. Three clusters of dates can be seen hanging down around him. The fanned leaves of the tree take up the top of the photograph. Various shrubs or small trees can be seed behind the date palm, with other date palm trees visible in the backfround. The photograph has been taken from ground level.
