Rosa Brett Sketchbook No 1. Flowers/Countryside 1876

Sketchbook contains twenty-seven leaves, PAG0614-PAG0641. Cover of the sketchbook. Dark green tissue with black leather on the left edge and spine as well and black leather corners, with a small gilt edge line. A paper label is stuck in the middle, with “Rosa Brett” handwritten on it. On the inside of the cover, there is a label on the top left which reads: “Windsor & Newton, manufacturing Artists’ Colourmen, to Her Majesty and Their H.R the Prince and Princess of Wales. 38, Rathbone Place, London, W.”
