H.M. 50 Gun Frigate Phaeton. Constructed by Mr Joseph White

H.M.S. Phaeton is depicted, in this coloured lithograph, in port broadside view, with all sails hoisted on a starboard tack, seemingly heading off her moorings. On the far left of the picture, another vessel under sail, named as the brig Daring, is probably coming to anchor. Amphion, on the right of the picture, is already at anchor, as is the two-masted vessel on the left, given as the Queen Victoria, yacht of the Emperor of Russia. Several small rowing and sailing boats can be seen, as can a distant shoreline.
