Portrait of the ‘Gorinchem’?

Port-quarter view portrait thought to be of the ‘Gorinchem’, built 1639, last mentioned 1667, also called ‘Gorkum’. The ‘Gorinchem’ was probably a fireship in 1671. It was possibly a ship of the Admiralty of Amsterdam.

This drawing is apparently a second offset from an original, the first offset from which was altered and used to produce PAH1753. It differs from the other offset in the hull being traced in outline, the stern widened, the main topsail shown atrip instead of hoisted half-mast, and topgallant yards and pendant added.
