A panorama of Woolwich and the river viewed from inland. A road is cut out of the hill leading down into the town, a woman and a boy with a goat are far right starting to walk down the road towards Woolwich. The docks are in the far left of the picture, and housing, a church, and more ships can be seen to the right. The picture illustrates the rural land meeting the docks. Hand-coloured.
