View across the park from the south showing Greenwich
A view north from the Observatory, showing the highly industrialized late-Victorian or early 20th-century London panorama beyond the domes of the Royal Naval College. Deer roamed free in the Park until 1920, when they were confined in the south-east corner, which gives the terminus for this evocative but possibly 'good amateur' view.
