'Vue du Rutli'

A watercolour of a lake (Rutli, Switzerland) surrounded by mountains with trees in the foreground. On the back is written in pencil:

In the bottom right hand corner of the back again in pencil: 'Mai 1864'
Before that, in black ink: painted by M. Nicolas Karth.

The Herschel children's governess at the time was a Mrs Karth, this presumably was painted by a male relative.
