Ports - Fowey; Poole 1913; Ajaccio 1927

Recto (front): three pencil sketches, selectively reinforced with pen and ink, of sailing vessels in port. These sketches depict Fowey from Hall Walk (top-left), Poole (top-right) and Ajaccio (bottom). The Fowey sketch is undated, while the Poole sketch is dated 1913 and the Ajaccio sketch is dated 1927.

Verso (back): two pen-and-ink sketches and one pencil sketch of sailing vessels. Top-left is a pen-and-ink sketch of the ‘Scottish Maid’ (1839). Bottom-left is a pencil sketch of two vessels, inscribed ‘Collier Brigs’. Right is a large pencil sketch, reinforced with pen-and-ink, of a schooner, inscribed ‘Dawn, 1891’.
