Key to Mr Orme's Print & Picture of Lord Duncan's Victory, over the Dutch Fleet

A key published to accompany Daniel Orme’s painting and print representing the surrender of the Dutch fleet following the Battle of Camperdown, 11 October 1797 (see BHC3100 for the painting and PAH17914 for the print). Titled ‘Key to Mr Orme’s Print & Picture of Lord Duncan’s Victory over the Dutch Fleet’, the left hand side of the print feature engravings of the heads and ships featured in Orme’s picture, labelled with numbers from 1 to 28. These numbers correspond to a list of names in the bottom left. The right hand side of the print features long text with the title ‘Description of the Historical Picture of Lord Viscount Duncan’s Victory over the Dutch Fleet off Camperdown, On the Eleventh of October, 1797’.
