Female figurehead
Polychrome and gilded waist-length female bust figurehead, from an unknown vessel. The figure may be a portrait and is in a low-cut blue evening gown, with a white panel at the beast, a gold belt and gold necklace. The hair is dressed in ringlets over the ears, with gold hair clips. The dress style is about 1828 and suggests British origin.
