Goblet

A large goblet, with a round bowl, baluster stem and plain foot. Wheel-engraved with a scene inscribed 'NELSON . WOUNDED . AT . TENERIFFE . JULY . 24 . 1797' after the painting by Richard Westall (BHC0498) painted and engraved for Clarke and McArthur's 'Life of Nelson' (1809). On the other side, a warship in full sail inscribed 'VICTORY'.
