Goblet

Goblet with a round funnel bowl, a stem with a cushioned hollow knop and a folded conical foot with a pontil mark. It is wheel-engraved with a portrait bust within an oval rope border and a warship. The goblet is inscribed: 'CMR. JOHN FORSTER OF THE TERROR'. The item is broken in two. John Brooks dated the glass to the mid 19th century, the engraving may be later.
