Decanter
Decanter, the glass dates from about 1780, the engraving is later. It has a tapered bottle shape, with a lozenge-shaped stopper with bevelled edges. The decanter is wheel-engraved with a ship-of-the-line inscribed: 'Victory 1765'. The monogram 'CM' is placed on a shield decorated with bows and with sprigs of leaves at the corners. The item is also inscribed: 'Orange Broker'.
