Goblet
Goblet commemorating the battle of Quiberon Bay 1759. It has an ogee bowl, plain stem and plain conical foot. The goblet is wheel-engraved with a female figure holding a fern-like palm branch and placed on a mound rising from the sea. The other side has a crude depiction of a sailing vessel. The item is inscribed: 'SUCCESS TO THE BRITISH FLEET 1759'.
