Glass saloon door panel from H.M.S. 'Serapis' in a wooden frame with metal brackets . It is inscribed: 'Heaven's Light Our Guide' on a garter belt surrounding a 'Star of India' design. The door is also decorated with scrolling folliage.The panel is one of a pair with GGG0453.
