HMS 'Victory'

Picture on glass of HMS 'Victory' in a maple frame. 'Victory' is shown as a black silhouette with yellow hull against a blue sky, painted on the reverse of the glass with a tinsel sea. The vessel has a red commissioning pennant at the main and St Georges Cross on the other two masts, probably intended to represent Nelson's flag as Vice Admiral of the White. Inscribed below: 'HMS Victory 1807'
