Box of dip circle/ magnetic misc accessories
Box containing hinges, the box is labelled 'Dip Instrument. Small level for planed; and brass levelling piece for Y's (now in use for Declinometer)' on the back of the box is a message from the manufacturer of GILLOTT pens. In addition to this box, there is a set of 3 variable density filter brass slides (possibly related to solar observations), 2 possibly unrelated brass tubes (134mm x 15mm diam, closed at one end), and wooden boxes with holders for needles possibly for Airy inclinometer, one box contains a pin.
