Merchant vessel; Cargo vessel; LASH type barge carrier

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a LASH type barge carrier with a heavy lift platform at the stern. The model is painted in realistic colours. The hull is black with a red band at the waterline, the decks are brown and the lighters on board are a uniform mid-grey. Two yellow funnels with a red stripe and white cross are positioned on either side of the deck approximately between the midship and stern quarters. The stern is open and two extensions at the port and starboard stern quarters support the lifting platform and its frame that enables floated containers to be lifted from the water and onto the ship's deck. The bridge is positioned on the foredeck and is equipped with bridge wings, radar/radio mast and a pair of lifeboats with pale green awnings.
