Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with light brown boot topping along the waterline and a thin white at deck level. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with a derrick, three pairs of cargo cranes, all of which serve three grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with six pairs of lifeboats, some double-banked and rigged to davits either side of a two tall oval-shaped funnels, painted overall. There are five pairs of large engine room ventilator cowlings around the base of the funnels and painted black. The boat deck continues all the way to the stern and is fitted with a large mast and four pairs of cargo cranes serving four grey covered cargo hatches. There is a small raised poop deck fitted around the shape of the rounded stern. The number "48" is written on the underside of the hull.
