Command flag, Admiral RN
Machine sewn, silk. Admiral's flag accompanied by a handwritten letter from James Hanton? HMS New Zealand 5.04.09 in an envelope addressed to Admiral HRH Prince of Wales in an oak box (AAA3677.1). Embroidered with signatures in red- 'Ric Gresley, John Fellowes, Colin Keppel, George P, J. Hamilton, George Neville, James Startin, S.C. Colville, J. Macgill, F.S. Inglefield'. Presented to the Prince of Wales (later George V) in 1909.
