Toy boat: S.S. OCEAN STRENGTH

Hollow plastic model boat, with grey hull and blue upper works. "OCEAN STRENGTH" painted on the side. Generally resembles original vessel, though without all deck fittings, cranes, masts, etc. Presented to Steven Gibbs (aged 5), son of the ship's sponsor, at the launch. Launched by Mrs A.V.R. Gibbs, wife of Henry P. Gibbs, Lloyd's Register surveyor.
