Awarded to Joachim Heinrich Christoph Satow (1794-1850), Pilot Commander of the Port of Riga. Obverse: Head of Carl Johan XIV (right) with draped robe at neck. Legend: 'CARL XV JOHAN SVERIGES OCH NORIGES KONUNG'. Below: 'LUNDGREN F.' Reverse: Within a laurel wreath the inscription: 'FOR BEROMLIGA GERNINGAR' (for praiseworthy deeds). Bound in a volume of letters of commendation.
