Royal Medal of Recompense, 2nd class
Awarded to William Charles Primmer RN (1853-1928). Obverse: Head of King Christian IX (left). Legend: 'CHRISTIANVS IX REX DANIAE'. Reverse: Winged figure (left) holding a wreath of laurel in right hand and a torch (?) in left. Fitted with a loop, ring and small bar to a red ribbon with a central white stripe. Halfway down ribbon is a horizontal white stripe. Mounted on a bar with seven others.
