King’s Road and Palace Pier, Brighton, Sussex
Looking east along the seafront from near West Pier. The Palace Pier is in the background with the paddle steamer 'Brighton Queen' underway passing the end of the pier. The foreshore is cluttered with rowing boats and 2 masted luggers, hauling out capstans and bathing machines. The holidaymakers are all fully dressed.
