Thermometer
Medical equipment belonging to Dr Alexander Hepburne Macklin (1889-1967), surgeon on Shackletons last two expeditions. Glass medical spirit thermometer, contained in padded brass tube with slide-on cap. Thermometer has ring at one end, with maroon cotton thread loop tied through it.
