Punch and Judy puppet: puppet head
Glove puppet head, part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). The head is carved from wood and painted, with the nose and cheeks painted red. The head has short features. The remains of a leather cap is attached with tacks. Cotton fibres, part of the previously attached body still remain at the neck.
