Bathythermograph Slides
Grey-painted wooden box, with slots for 200 slides; containing 196 smoked glass slides, about 30 of them used. The smoked glass slides in a bathythermograph were used to obtain a record of temperature as a function of depth. Slides were used with bathythermographs NAV1769, NAV1965, NAV1964 and/or NAV1968.
