Shotgun

Shotgun. The stock is half stocked with deep concave section cut into the top of the butt for a cloth or leather cheek rest. The iron butt plate is secured by two screws. It has a broad steel trigger guard with long finials of the classical vase type. The guard encloses two triggers - one long and sweeping, the other short and stubby. Steel ramrod pipes with wooden ramrod. It has a twin flintlock with swan neck cock, and twin steel barrels with a blade foresight. Inscribed on the lockplate (on the right side) is the name 'Antoine' and on the left side 'Cizarou'.
